Join Neighborhood Food Pantries for the 2026 Shopping Cart Shuffle 5K & Family Fun Run! More than 60,000 neighbors in DuPage County face food insecurity, but you can race to change that. Whether you are a competitive runner or just looking for a morning stroll with the family, every step you take helps provide healthy food to local individuals and families in need.
T-shirts and race packet must be picked up at Dick Pond Athletics in Carol Stream. No packets will be mailed.
Registration and race start / finish: Ross Ferraro Town Center, Carol Stream
100-Yard Kids' Dash (Under 10) FREE (8:15 am)
5K Walk/Run Start: 8:30 am
Medals will be awarded to top performers and top fundraisers.
Take home a badge of honor: A certificate for every participant!

Race entry includes: an NFP 5K T-Shirt, a race bib, a certificate of completion, and a post race snack.

In addition to supporting Neighborhood Food Pantries with your registration, please consider making a personal donation, or become a fundraiser to support our mission! Create and customize your fundraising page with your personal goal and a progress meter! Build your page and send the link to your friends, family and co-workers. Promote your page on Facebook and other social media sites. Become a team captain at your church, business, or club. For a business, it's a great team building activity. The top three individual fundraisers and the top three fundraising teams will be recognized at the event!
