So you want to help? There are many ways to aid those in need:
Volunteer to collect needed items. All sites can use the following:
Shampoo, bar soap, laundry soap, diapers, wipes, dish soap, paper towel, toilet paper, kleenex, napkins,
feminine products, deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste.
Volunteer as one of our drivers to pickup donated food.
We are looking for anyone that is available to pick up donated food.
Contact individual sites for their specific needs.
Any time you can give would be very much appreciated.
Volunteer at one of our Food Pantry Sites:
Family In Faith Christian Church, Glendale Heights
Immanuel Presbyterian Church, Warrenville
Lutheran Church of the Master, Carol Stream
Real Life Church, West Chicato
Resurrection Catholic Community, Wayne
St Andrew United Methodist Church, Carol Stream
St. Irene Catholic Community of Faith
WeGo Together Community Market, West Chicago
Make a monetary contribution:
While monetary contributions enable us to purchase the most amount of food through the Northern Illinois Food Bank--thus maximizing your donation more than you would be able to by buying food for donating at the grocery store--see the list of food and other items above that are needed at each of the sites. These items would be ideal for you, your family, neighborhood, church, or other organization to collect through a food drive.
